SKILLS ASSESSMENTS

This is the HANDS-ON portion of the HeartCode BLS Provider course offered by the American Heart Association.

You must have completed the online portion of the HeartCode BLS course PRIOR to coming in for your skills assessment.

We will need a copy of your certificate for the online portion of the HeartCode BLS course PRIOR to your skills assessment.

You will need to come to our office in Taylorsville, UT in order to complete the HANDS-ON portion of the HeartCode BLS.

Once at our office, you will perform the CPR skills on our CPR manikins.

Our instructor will be proctoring your assessment virtually.
This means your instructor will video call you on your cell phone using Zoom or WhatsApp and will proctor your assessment virtually while you perform the CPR skills on our CPR manikins.
Please make sure your phone is FULLY CHARGED before coming to your appointment.

Hybrid Skills Assessments were first introduced by the AHA during the COVID pandemic.

Once you have successfully completed both the online HeatrCode BLS and the hands-on skills assessment, you will be issued a BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.

This is the same certification you would receive if you had taken the fully in-person class.
